Meet the new Seeker 16

Ideal for young riders ready to take on more challenging terrain, the Seeker 16 is a rigid MTB that is designed for the next step in mountain biking. With geometry improvements like a lower bottom bracket for enhanced stability, slacker headtube angles for improved handling whilst descending and a lower standover height for easier mounting, this bike is built for confidence. The single-speed drivetrain with optimized gear ratios and short 90mm crank arms ensures smooth, efficient pedaling. Kitted out with 140mm CRUX hydraulic disc brakes, sealed bearing 16" wheels with bolt-thru axles, and grippy Kenda Booster 2.2" tires, this bike offers the performance and durability needed for off-road exploration. Reduced grip diameter ensures better control for smaller hands, making it the perfect choice for adventurous young riders.

The Full Story

Geometry to get kids moving

A great adventure bike should be comfortable, easy to pedal and stable on changeable terrain.

We’ve gone for a relaxed, stable geometry for the Seeker 16. We want kids to be upright-ish for comfort but still able to engage their core and glutes (the muscles that keep you pedalling for longer.)

The front end of the bike (wheel base) is stretched out, making it stable and less likely to flick out unexpectedly if the front wheel hits a curb or tree root.

Finally, the stack and reach (the angles of the triangle bit of the frame) are not too high and not too stretched, making descending fun not frightening. Progress comes when those 3 areas of geometry work in harmony.

A no fuss, full gas chainset

The chainring, crankset and single speed set-up give the Seeker 16 an awesome mix of performance, safety and pedalling efficiency that you simply won’t find on other bikes this size.

Narrow wide chain teeth stop the chain from flapping and slipping and work in harmony with shortened 90mm cranks for pedalling efficiency.

The single speed set up saves weight while allowing little ones to give the trail their full attention.

Wheely great wheels

There’s no point spec'ing a great bike with terrible wheels.

Whether it’s too heavy, too flimsy or simply too unresponsive, a poor quality wheel will suck the joy out of riding with every leg-aching, sluggish pedal stroke.

We designed the Seeker with shock absorbing aluminium disc rims, a small but mighty bolt thru cassette hub and 24 spokes for strength and stiffness.

Power transfer shouldn’t just be for the pros. It keeps legs fresher, for longer. extending the ride for everyone.

Super lightweight aluminium, beautifully crafted to last for years

We use 6061-grade aluminium in our bikes, It’s a fantastic material. Strong yet light, weatherproof and super robust.

It’s also a responsive material transferring more power from the pedals to the wheels. In real terms, this means it’s easier to pedal further for longer.

The benefit is a bike that literally goes the distance.

Tyres that keep them on track

Big adventure requires big tyres and we’re not playing around when it comes to speccing the Seeker.

Whether you’re navigating mud, berms, ruts or roots, our 2.25" knobbly tyres deliver traction, control and protection.

Bigger tyre volume means more air and therefore more cushioning, so that riding won’t just be safer and more adventurous, it’ll be more enjoyable too.

Touchpoints that elevate control

Every one of the Seeker’s touchpoints, be that the bars, saddle, pedals or grips has been anatomically designed to properly fit and function for super small riders.

Light, powerful hydraulic disc brakes

At 65g, the 140mm hydraulic powered disc rotors mean business. Because sending it relies on stopping it. With partially rounded edges and 6 bolts you’re also guaranteed extra safety even when you’ve stopped.

The brake levers features a lightweight, and most importantly, adjustable action to accommodate small hands.

We also made the decision to replace the brake fluid with mineral oil. It’s less corrosive and a bit kinder on the environment.
