The Helion 20 is a performance-driven MTB featuring a triple-butted aluminium frame with a CNC'd chainstay yoke, threaded thru axles, sliding dropouts, and internal cable routing for strength, stiffness, and adaptability. Its long, low, and slack geometry boosts confidence while delivering playful handling on techy trails. The narrow-wide chainring and forged cranks ensure power and efficiency. With a Richey Jr cockpit, 80mm RST Spex front suspension plus SRAM and Shimano on the drivetrain and brakes respectively, you’ve got an incredible comp level bike for your future super star.

A performance optimised aluminium frame

Built for performance, the Hellion 20 features a triple-butted aluminium frameset with a CNC'd chainstay yoke that’s precision engineered to absorb big hits like a champ.
The frame tubing has been deliberately crafted to balance strength (at the pressure points) with lightness (everywhere else), to ensure we don’t add unnecessary weight or hinder progress.
Threaded thru axles ramp up frame stiffness while sliding dropouts enable handing and size tweaks as little riders progress.
The Hellion 20 features internal cabling and comes dropper post ready, making installation of your preferred post a dream.

Long, low and slack

That’s the assignment and we understood it.

The Hellion 20 is built for performance with a geometry optimised for speed, technical acumen and confidence on the gnarly bits.

The low centre of gravity keeps them balanced in the berms while the slack head tube angle takes (some of the drama) out of descending. The short seat stays give the bike a playful responsive feel (while also making manuals just a little easier to master).

A no fuss, full gas chainset

The crankset and single ring set-up give the Hellion 20 an awesome mix of performance, safety and pedalling efficiency that you simply won’t find on other bikes this size.

The narrow wide chain ring stops the chain from flapping and slipping and works in harmony with 127mm cranks for pedalling efficiency.

The single ring set up saves weight while allowing progressive young riders to focus fully on the trail.

Anatomically designed cockpit

The Richey Jr cockpit is anatomically designed for progression and control. When everything fits right, steering becomes more precise, more controlled. The lock on grips prevent hand slip in the inevitable wet muddy conditions.

Ritchey Logic have been at the forefront of component design for the past 50 years. We’ve collaborated with them for over a decade, producing some of best age specific components to ever grace a kids’ bike.

Big kid forks, little kid bike

The Hellion 20 comes equipped with 80mm of smash proof front suspension courtesy of RST Spex. Featuring the same levels of adjustability typically found on much bigger kids’ bikes, the Hellion 20 can withstand pretty much anything little rippers decide to throw at it.

Fine tune the float with adjustable air suspension, compression and rebound to dial in their ride according to the demands of their skill set, terrain or current weight.

Lightweight, adjustable brakes

Featuring a lightweight, smooth modulation, plenty of adjustability and ultra reliable braking, it’s no wonder we’re such big fans of Shimano’s Deore MT500s.

Braking feedback is predictable with a smooth modulation that prevents unnecessary emergency stops while the 160mm 6 bolt rotors give bold riders the confidence they need to go hard, and stop harder.

A SRAM GX drivetrain

The SRAM GX 1x10 is a robust, efficient, and versatile drivetrain that balances simplicity with performance. The low-maintenance setup which saves valuable weight without sacrificing performance. With its smooth, accurate shifting, superior weight and robust build, there’s a reason why SRAM GX is the drivetrain of choice for so many pros.

MTB wheels that go hard

Fully sealed bearing hubs, tubeless compatible, double wall rims and optimised spoke count means these wheels rip.
Because there’s no point speccing a great bike with weak wheels.

Sealed bearings keep mud, water and corrosion at bay while double wall rims give you twice the confidence on rocks and roots.

The optimised spoke count means you won’t have to worry about buckled wheels while thru axles makes the rare times you do need to swap tyres a breeze.

Progression machine

In the few months of owning this bike my kid (just turned six) has progressed so much. He was riding the seeker 16x which is a great bike. The Hellion has taken him to the next level. His confidence and ability to ride more difficult trails has exploded. He is now able to ride much longer and farther. He is so proud of his bike and loves riding it every day. He says that he doesn't like toys anymore...just his bike.

This is an amazing bike!

Our sons have been riding nothing else than Early riders since they can ride, our 5 year old switched from the seeker x16 to the Hellion 20 as we’re doing more and more gravity!

He’s enjoying the bike and it’s way nicer in reality than in pictures !
