Go faster, handle harder, enjoy more.

Our remarkable Seeker X16 is about how best to support the ever increasing capability of our young riders. The tweaked geometry delivers stability on the downs and the most efficient position for driving the pedals on the ups. An all aluminum frame set of course, brand new Ritchey bars that provide more cockpit space, and the awesome, bump-soaking 2.25" Vee Crown Gems running on our market leading, 4 cartridge bearing cassette hub.

The upgrade delivered by the Seeker X16 is the Promax hydraulic discs. Super smooth, light actuation with awesome braking power. Removing the concern of break pads on wet muddy rims, means your kid can shred the trails with absolute confidence no matter the conditions. Some will consider this bike to be overkill, but we think it's about greater control at greater intensity.

PERFORMANCE, DURABILITY AND CHEAP, PICK TWO.

Producing a bike that performs to inspire but at a justifiable cost is a balancing act when it may be enjoyed by your child for only a couple of years.  We work tirelessly to garner value with every penny we invest and where possible we only invest in value that can be retained. Our finish is brushed aluminum because it carries the scratches and dings beautifully. It's gender neutral too, so it can be passed on to both boys and girls. We exceptionally rarely have new model years, preferring to refine instead so that when a bike is passed on it's still current. We invest in weight saving components that others don't (hollow axles, external cup bottom brackets, CNC'd aluminum hubs, butted tubes, cold forged cranks) as it allows us to use high performance and incredibly durable components that others won't (cartridge bearings in all moving parts, our forged sliding drop outs, a 4-bearing cassette hub, an all aluminum drive train) and this is how we end up with bikes that are not only market leading by weight and by function, but also promise the durability that mean they can benefit the second or third owner as much as they did the first.

Super!

My daughter loves it, she is almost 4 years old (103cm) and she had a balance bike, at the first test she learned to go straight and brake. Now, after a couple of days, she has to be safe to leave alone but by now she has almost learned. The strap instead of the chain is very useful. The only flaw I thought it was lighter, when I have to carry it to go to school it is rather uncomfortable.

Tops

Great bike that’s way lighter than anything we’ve been able to find locally and with disk brakes to get him used to them early. A slightly longer stem would’ve been good to raise the bars more to help the little guy peddle when standing but quality is excellent! Bike is amazing.

High quality - but also high gain ratio

I keep getting emails from ER asking me about my opinion, so here it goes: The Seeker X16 is of exceptional quality. This is a high-end bike, no doubt about it it. Then why a 2-star rating. It's simple: the gain ratio is way too high (in my opinion).

My somewhat lightweight 4-year old out-grew his Woom 2. As soon as we started moving to real (easy) trails as opposed to the neighborhood park, I realized that a bike upgrade was necessary. The Seeker X16 seemed like a great option, considering it is almost as light as a Woom 3, but has bigger tires (my main criticism of the Wooms are the narrow tires) and disc brakes. We received the bike a few weeks ago and I was immediately in awe by the quality of the bike. Due to inclement weather (wind and snow...), it took until today before we were able to test it on the trails. Outside of town we have rolling hills with a good amount of short ups and downs, but nothing steep on the easy trails. I had noticed on rides around the neighborhood that the bike was harder to pedal than his Woom 2 but had hoped he would be fine. Right away I could see him struggling going up an almost unnoticeable incline and within one minute of biking, he stopped and started crying, saying he couldn't move the bike. I had to use the TowWhee where before he was perfectly able to ride his Woom 2. Yes, it is my fault that I hadn't paid enough attention to this before ordering the bike. But a bike aimed at 4 and 5 year olds should not be this hard to pedal if you…

Amazing product, expensive bike, great function not flawless

Great component for little ones, amazingly lightweight, great brakes, good tires but out of the box the wheels are not true and there's a chip in the aluminum on the rear gear.
