Belter 24 in Violet Haze

A Early Rider at it‘s best. My son (8 yrs) loves it ❤️ And that‘s the most important point 🤩

The one that stands above

This is our second belted (20 was the first). I chose this bike because it is a belt driven system, super light for what it is. Zero maintenance. Looks great and shows no signs of wear and tear after 2.5 years of usage. When my daughter finally needed a bigger bike - I once again looked at the market and options - I went back and forth - there are great choices for half the money but they are also great relative to what the market is offering. Belter once again stand out and stands above with its design, belt driven system internal 7 speed gear shifter and great geometry that is a great fit for 8.5 year and up. It was super easy to put together. I will add tubolito tubes like I did in the blender 20 - this way when we ride off road - it is puncture resistant. Love the bike. Worth every dollar. If you can afford it - the choice is clear - this is the bike.

Disappointed purchase. Belt makes sound due to defect.

This is my third Early Rider belter. I have purchased the 16” and 20” versions before. The 24” belter uses a different brand belt which is much harder and stiffer compared to the Gates belt on the smaller versions. The belt clearly has a defect which is causing an annoying sound. I received a replacement belt from Early Rider with the same defect.

They are telling me that it rather is an alignment issue instead of a defective belt issue. The sound isn’t constant though and only caused my the defective areas of the belt.

Early Rider hasn’t proposed any decent solution to solve this issue after sending them several e-mails. A big disappointment!

Hi Vincent, I understand you are talking with Jake. Have you fitted the replacement belt as advised? The belts we use on the 24' bikes need to be stronger than those used for the 16' and 20' - there's a different load and strain level. The belt is not necessarily defective, but as Jake has said it's possible the belt on the original bike had been folded and kinked - see if the replacement belt resolves the issue. Keep in contact with Jake while you get resolution.

1st ride

Yesterday was first time riding new bike. My son completed 9 miles on rolling hills in 1 hour. Bigger breaks and disc brakes made him feel confident on suburban roads. Pedals should shave openings on side, like belter 20 pedals, to accommodate velcro bike pedal straps.
Cable clasps should be stronger. Cable in-front could be shorter for a cleaner look.
Lubrication should've been included. All Allen wrenches should’ve been included as a torque wrench set. Frame should be offered in carbon and/or titanium, with carbon components as a higher end option for bike enthusiast dads like myself.

Very high quality bike

This is my 3rd Early Rider bike for my grandson. First a Belter 16, then a Belter 20 and now the Belter 24. He loved the previous 2 but this one is his favorite. He has told me multiple times how much he loves his new bike and how amazing it looks to him. I have owned many of the big name brands for myself but the Belter 24 is one of the nicest and most well made bikes I have ever seen for a child. High quality components and easy shifting makes it a joy for him to ride. I look forward to the next few years of us riding together. I highly recommend any of the Early Rider bikes.

Belter 24 review

Lightweight, easy to shift, and enough gears for my 9 year old grandson to get up hills and ride fast down hills. My grandson is enjoying the bike and the newfound freedom of roaming farther from his starting point.

Happy kid

Bike is great.

Only downside is that kickstand (out of stock), fenders (not available in shop), lock or lights aren't included.

Replaced the added wheel reflectors by more elegant ones on the spokes.

Belter 24

I purchased this bike for my 9 year daughter.
It is excellent quality and very light bike for a kid.
The belt drive is very much appreciated since we live in a salty area and normal chain is always rusted very soon. Also very very quiet ride.
The design and esthetics are also a highlight of this bike.
. . .
The only problem is that the friends of my daughter now envy her :-))

Possibly the perfect bike?

I never do these reviews but I want the world to know how happy we’ve been with our Seeker 16 and now the Belter 24. My son just turned eight and rides his bike every day here in Copenhagen and to football tournaments in the surrounding area pretty much every weekend. The Seeker was perfect for us at the time and practically didn’t require any maintenance despite the countless rides and kilometres . He also loves his new bike - our best recommendations to everyone considering an Early Rider bike for their kids.

Great Bike!

Have had two other bikes from early rider and I am very content with the quality of the bikes. This bike is once again a cool looking bike with great quality! Had been in touch with early rider service desk and I must say I’ve been helped very quickly. People over there are very friendly and helpful!

Great Bike! Highly Recommended!

Very easy to use on trails. Hydraulic breaks are very soft and responsive. Very slick and appealing appearance. 8 speed gear hub is reliable and gives an excellent speed selection range. My son loves the bike. Unfortunately Early Rider does not offer 26 inch wheels and I had to buy Woom for next year fun. I highly recommend this bike.

Great bike for commuting

This is a great bike for commuting, especially if the kids are supposed to bike several kilometres per day. Build quality is very good, and most components are of good quality as well.
The bike could however be improved by including the mudguard attachment points present on the 20" version of the same bike. A further very useful add-on would be the inclusion of a hub dynamo, which for a low added cost would greatly improve the bike for daily commuting. After I added mudguards and dynamo lights myself, the bike is actually worth more than 5 Stars.
